Changing of RT to Service Now
On Thursday 26th January 2012, IT Services will be changing their Incident management tool from RT to Service Now. Initially this is a like for like replacement, but we will be introducing a host of new features shortly. Many of these should make your requests easier, and allow more transparency on Incident and Request progression.
Initially, the emails you receive when Incidents are logged will change format – and include a hyperlink to view the Incident. Logons will use your AD account, and provide an overview of all incidents you have open, and allow you to create new ones online.
